We are new to the Norwich area and had been looking for good, upscale dining, of which Norwich seemingly has very little. Bella Fiore was a pleasant surprise. The ambiance is typical of an excellent neighborhood Italian restaurant with painted murals and dim lighting.
The waiter was native Italian--always a good sign in an Italian restaurant.
The food and service were superb. I had escargot as an appetizer, white snapper as the entree, and a light lemon custard for dessert. My wife had a veal dish, which I tasted, and was likewise outstanding.
Highly recommended.

Referred by the innkeeper at our B&B, we expected good food in a nice atmosphere. What we got was superb food in an unusual, open setting. Noise could have been a problem had the restaurant been crowded. For two traveling gourmands, it was heaven. The sauces are world class and alone worth the visit. We'll go out of our way to return.

The concierge at the Norwich Inn and Spa recommended that we dine at Bella Fiore. I was skeptical, because Norwich is certainly not known for it's "fine cuisine". To say that I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. While the lighting is a bit dim for dining, the room was beautiful with hand painted murals on every wall. The service was incredible - absolutely the best service I've received outside of a resort - my water glass was never empty. Even if the food had been only mediocre, I would have returned, but the food was delicious and the portions were perfect. Living less than an hour from this diamond in the rough, I can't believe that I didn't discover it sooner. I've already made reservations for my next visit! I can't wait until my husband tries the chicken Parmesan!!!
